18 Grams in, 20 second shot, 36 grams out

For most of my life I was not a fan of the dark bean juice. It wasn’t until I visited Melbourne, Australia on a foodie tour where I was introduced to a flat white and discovered my interested in coffee.

In 2020 during the start of the pandemic, I bought a Breville Barista Express to explore my interest of espresso making. After many bags of wasted beans, I am now decent at pulling shots and steaming milk. I often enjoy drinking a latte at home on Sunday mornings.

I am not one to consume coffee as a means for caffeine necessity but I enjoy tasting unique or quality roasts. Nowadays I am always looking for local cafes when visiting new towns.
